Inspired by lighting bolt of Zeus and the story of Artemisia I of Caria who was a great naval commander. During the Battle of Salamis as an ally  of Xerxes, when he saw her courage during the battle according to Polyaenus, he said: “O Zeus, surely you have formed women out of man’s materials, and men out of woman’s.”
